Unit 2: Interview Content and Structure
Introduction
As we previously mentioned, it can help to think of an interview as an important conversation. Nevertheless, an interview needs to be focused to achieve its purpose - hiring the right person for the position!
In the next unit we will explore key questions relating to the content of interviews, such as:
- What do you want the interviewer to know about you?
- What do you need to know about the position/organisation?
- What interview techniques do you need to pay particular attention to?
- How should you manage the close of the interview?
- How will the hiring process unfold?
