Relating your values to the world of work
Try to read as many job descriptions/advertisements from your area(s) of interest as you can. Look at newspapers, magazines, the internet, professional publications and anywhere else you can think of! As you do so, think about the values associated with each position.
At least some of the associated values should match those extracted from your list of working conditions. In particular, spend time thinking about the values that don’t seem to match. How important are they to you? What will happen if they are not satisfied in your employment? Can you incorporate those values elsewhere in your life? You need to be honest with yourself.
