Examining Starting Salaries

The starting salaries for a large number of graduate positions are available in the La Trobe University Careers Service.

These salary figures can be used in conjunction with a cost of living index (discussed in the next unit) to determine whether you would be able to meet your basic economic needs at a particular salary level in a certain location.
