Defining Acceptable Work Conditions

Whilst in theory there are many jobs open to us, each of us has (consciously or subconsciously) a set of working conditions that must exist before we will consider taking a particular job.

Although these conditions vary from person to person, some typical factors include salary; location; the level of autonomy provided to you; whether you would be working with people, information or things; and the types of tasks you would be willing to do.

You might also consider conditions that you would not accept, such as working at night; moving interstate or overseas; or working for a company with a poor environmental record.
