We would like to invite you to participate in a research project titled “Careers of STEM Students: Key Foundations and Empirical Examples in Defence,” led by researchers from RMIT University (Professor Joe Jiang, Associate Professor March To, Dr. Haiying Kang, and Dr. Neetu Choudhary).
This project aims to explore and support the career development of university students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) at Australian universities. The defence sector and related industries are facing challenges in building a strong pipeline of STEM talent. This research will investigate STEM students’ career interests, exploration, and decision-making processes. The findings will provide valuable insights to better support STEM students’ career planning while helping sectors like defence attract, reward, and retain future STEM talent.
We invite you to participate in a one-on-one interview (online, with potential in-person options), which will take approximately one hour. As a token of appreciation for your time, you will receive a $50 supermarket gift card (Coles/Woolworths).
