We welcome applications from entry level candidates looking to start their science career. All you need to do is tell us why you should be named PERSOLKELLY’s Future Scientist in 250 words or less.
About the Future Scientist Award:
- A panel of judges from a range of science related industries that PERSOLKELLY work with are selected (~17 judges)
- From the applicants, a shortlist of 8 finalists are selected, who then receive job/career search training
- In September(14th), they present themselves to the panel of judges giving a rundown of their academic achievements and their industry interests
- Judges have a vote on a winner, who receives a $1000 gift card, mentoring session and promotion across a variety of mediums
- As a side note, judges/clients get a discount on hiring candidates so lowers the barrier even further for placement!
Applicants for the Future Scientist Award program must be:
- In their final semester of, or have graduated in the last twelve months from, a Bachelor of Science, BSc Hons, MSc or PhD (science discipline)
- A resident with full working rights in Australia
- An entry-level candidate looking to start their science career
- Currently unemployed and/or on the market for a permanent full-time role
- Available for phone, face-to-face interviews and presentation to Award panel in September
