The Australian Taxation Office’s (ATO) award-winning Graduate Program is recruiting its biggest ever intake of graduates across the country from 6 March to 17 April this year.

The ATO Graduate Program offers:

  • a starting salary package of over $77,000 ($67,577 plus 15.4% super) and an advancement to a minimum package of over $86,000 ($75,278 plus 15.4% super)
  • two challenging work rotations to develop your skills and explore different areas of interest
  • a positive work-life balance with flexible work arrangements and generous leave entitlements.
  • Graduates will receive the support, training and guidance they need to build a successful career as part of a diverse and inclusive workplace of almost 20,000 employees


To apply for the ATO Graduate Program through the affirmative measures process, you must be able to provide written evidence that you:

  • are of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
  • identify as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • are accepted as an Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in the community in which you live or have lived
  • are an Australian citizen.
The ATO is looking for candidates who have completed their degree in a range of fields including IT, data, design, taxation, marketing and communications, and HR within the last five years, as well as graduates in their final year of study.
