Forty two Victorian first year accounting student have been awarded summer work placements with Big Four and mid-tier accounting firms and other business as part of the Achiever Work Experience program of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. More than 1100 students applied for the 190 work experience placements across Australia, an increase of 42 per cent on last year. The students will take up the placements, which range form 2 to 12 weeks, during the summer holidays.
