The Australian Government is running the Melbourne Jobs Fair where job seekers, employers and employment service providers can network and discuss the jobs on offer in and around Melbourne.

- Book a one-on-one resume or interview skills coaching session

What to expect

The fair will allow you to chat with employers, and discuss current job opportunities and career options from a wide range of industries in and around Melbourne. There will be a number of workshops you can attend on the day to help you get job ready and secure your next role.

You can also book a free one-on-one session on the day to have your résumé reviewed or have some interview practice with an experienced consultant.

The Department of Education, Skills and Employment is taking all precautions to ensure the event is COVID-19 safe for all participants. COVID-19 safety protocols will be provided upon registration.

What to bring

Hard copies of your résumé

We suggest you bring approximately 8-10 printed copies of your résumé that you can provide to potential employers on the day. If you don’t have access to a printer, bring your résumé on a USB and print it at the fair. Computers and printers will be available on the day.

A USB with a copy of your résumé saved

We recommend you bring a USB with a copy of your résumé saved to the fair. This will allow you to print additional copies of your résumé at the fair if required for potential employers and allow you to make any changes or updates to your résumé after working one on one with a résumé specialist on the day.
