Most professional women want training, coaching, flexibility and mentoring. In fact coming to terms with what women want as opposed to what their male managers want is a huge problem for most male dominated workforces.

Law firms it seems in particular may be at a greater risk of losing female staff, many women prefer to work part time yet are leaving because they are expected to stay until 10 in the evening.

Managers who aren't taking these new issues on board will find themselves in trouble as it seems the new research shows that the new generation y males share many of the perspectives mentioned above.
